Description: Jamis is a tall man, roughly 6'6" in height. His somewhat muscular figure is accented by the tan of his skin and the dark brown hair, which sticks back in thin clumps causing it to look spikey. His ice blue eyes stand out as his most noticeable feature against the dark of his skin. He typically wears a peasant shirt, plain brown pants, and brown leather boots. A single earring, a silver stud with a short, thin chain and a blood-red crystal at the end, hangs from his left ear.
Personality: Jamis is a mastermind, plain and simple. He's a master of deceit and manipulation. He has an ability to read people and use their weaknesses against them to benefit himself. But he's also very caring. He's passionate and, while he can be stubborn and selfish, willing will gladly give his all for those in need. He's strong willed and a natural born leader, but he does tend to act before thinking, when things don't go as planned or his emotions are flared up.
Background: Raised as a peasant to a single mother and twelve younger siblings, Jamis was the man of the family. He was sixteen years older than the youngest of his siblings and took it upon himself to try and obtain money for the starving family to survive on. However, his hard work wasn't enough and his baby brother had to be taken away for a "better life".. he was jealous of his brother, who was only seven at the time.. he was the one taken in by a wealthy craftsman even though he did not deserve such a great opportunity.. he wasn't the one working for the food.
Years later, Jamis became a crafter himself, working in the farmcraft and working his way up to provide money for his family. However, his siblings and mother died of starvation and disease. He'd visited the craftsman who'd taken his brother, but apparently the spoiled brat had left and taken the craftsman's money.. he was supposed dead from that point on.. And so he believes himself to be the remaining member of his family.
[EDIT] Jamis has found his brother, or rather, vice versa. He hates him still, but can't shake off the feeling of happiness that he's no longer the last of his kin. He's become smarter and is using his clever, though not overly intelligent, brain to his advantage, using his brother as a link to destroy the riders.. Unfortunately for him, he now has a dragon to take care of..
[EDIT] Jamis attacked the Weyr with his Guild, only to realize the misunderstanding fueling his rage. He turned over a new leaf and started a new, helping save the Weyr from the attack he'd started and continuing thereafter to make up for what he'd done.
Though, now that thread is falling, he won't be around the Weyr anymore..
[EDIT] Jamis has moved with Sukura to the Southern Weyr, where he will be the Senior Journeyman Farmer and advisor to the WeyrWoman... and if he has his way, he'll also be WeyrLeader

Personality: Jarith is a bit of a special case as far as personality goes. He's very hyper, very sweet,very nice, and very adorable.. He completely clashes with Jamis' 'hard-knock life' mentallity, still there must be something he sees in Jamis, possibly his understanding, patient nature.. because they're certainly not alike
Background: At his hatching, Jarith couldn't find someone to Impress in the candidates present. He did, however, find Jamis and he seemed to be just the perfect person to Impress.. and so started an epic feud.. that.. Jarith still doesn't know about..
